Great place to study, but could be a little cleaner. The stairway that traverses all the floors on the west side is absolutely filthy most of the year. The wifi is very reliable and I have rarely had an issue with it.

I don't know why people are rating the building based on cell phone service, that has little to do with the building itself, and more on the cell phone providers adding in better towers, closer to the building. That being said, I have fine service throughout the building. If you can't live without your phone for just an hour or two of class, then you need to reevaluate your education. I understand it's important to get texts to set up meetings, or to receive a phone call for a potential employer, but hey, if you tell them you were in class and that's why you missed your call, they would be 100% okay with that.

Imagine a place where you don't see the sun for 8 hours on end and 60% of the plugs in lecture halls either don't work or spark up upon being used.

Imagine a place so far away from the rest of campus that people have never heard of the buildings you study in. A place where the computer lab is filled with depressed 20 year-olds who don't know what time it is, because their computer lab doesn't allow them to see daylight.

There's no need to imagine anymore if you have class in WEB. Your tuition WILL rise after your first tour of duty in the building and yet nothing will get better. Sometimes the water fountains or bathrooms don't work, and despite students being there almost 24/7, food is only available for a couple hours each day. Welcome to WEB, welcome to your prison.

This building is pretty beautiful and had a cool history. The study rooms on main level are awesome, but there are nowhere near enough of them. Also, who in their right mind thought it was best to study in a round table? Just saying. Great facility though, I love being an engineer at the u.

The Warnock Building is a beautiful building that does a great job fulfilling its function. The Starley Cafe on the first floor has great food for a good price! There are rarely enough study rooms and the WiFi could use some updating, but it is overall a great place to study, meet new people, and attend class.

Vargha Payandeh

This is one of the engineering Buildings at University of Utah. Its on the south of the MEB and west of the newly built Biomedical Engineering building. It has a weird floor plan. It has few nice and quiet room for studying, plus a couple computer labs for engineering students.

My home away from home for 4 years undergrad CS courses classroom, computer labs, homework, and projects. Took mostly regular CS not the gaming track. Did take the very first Machinama class before the Arts & Entertainment curriculum was offered.
