This school has really good teachers, but the advisors need some more training , I just had an appt with Deborah Valiente she had no clue what she was doing she wasted my time how did this lady get this job? She went on google to answer my questions! something i could of done all by myself, I thought Advising would have some sort of training to answer students questions but its evident this lady doesnt know what shes doing!

CSUDH is one of My Alma Maters, I graduated Class of 1993 and all My experiences there were Positive ones. I enjoyed My Academic Studies while I was a Student earning my Bachelor's degree.

Small campus, clean, not sure what else can be said but always check out ratemyproffesor to see if they'll be a good fit, look up the map online, practice where the classes are, in any campus always be alert

The new student orientation process is a disorganized mess full of dead web links, non-active campus phone numbers, and unclear instructions, coupled with the campus's infrastructure that's poorly labeled and it has outdated campus maps.
