Bebo Mia has literally changed my life. I took a course previous to this and I felt very lost afterward. I was struggling financially so I watched every free webinar they have for people who are curious. I also participated in the Bebo Mia book club and listened to the podcast to soak in EVERYTHING. Let me tell you, not a single thing disappointed me. The fact that Bianca (the CEO) is involved in everything makes what they do very personable. The Bebo babes who also make up Bebo Mia are so supportive and put so much of their time into their programs. They helped me a lot before and made me feel like a member before I even signed up for class.
The 3-in-1 MSP class is mind blowing! It exceeded my expectations and my expectations were already high after getting to know these lovely people! There is no stone unturned, no question left unanswered and plenty of support in our cohort groups! We get manuals to download like books with links for resources and additional webinars that focus on unique areas of birthwork. They offer continuous support through your entire career through your cohort space and alumni group!
I can’t recommend Bebo Mia enough! If you are looking to join a family of passionate, experienced and new doulas to learn with, PLEASE SIGN UP BECAUSE THEY ARE SO AMAZING!

I recently took their training in March 2023. I truly can't say enough. I went into this with a passion for giving voice to individuals... the voice that I didn't feel I had during my own personal pregnancy, birth and postpartum periods... but I left with SO much more. I'm so glad I stumbled upon bebo mia instead of going through other, more popular known doula trainings. After I browsed their website and attended their free webinar, I just knew this was my place.

I've met such wonderful people through this organization and the knowledge and experience I've gained is incredible. The community is so supportive! There are no hidden fees in their tuition - once you're in, you're in! The process is simple - but also feels like I took another college course. As a mother of two young children, this training fit into my life. I literally did dishes while attending their trainings, lol. It was 18 weeks of in-depth education, a beautiful manual, awesome peer mentors and personable instructors. I was always able to get an answer in a timely manner. They care!

I highly recommend anyone that is interested in getting into this work (btw-it's in demand, the world needs more birth workers) to check them out. You will not be disappointed.

I enjoyed the Bebomia MSP course. I learned more then I thought I would. The amount of resources and support they offer to help you throughout the course is amazing. I love the set up of the program. Its very flexible, which was a must for me. I also appreciate how Bebomia is culturally diverse. They are respectful and inclusive for everyone. It was the best online course I've taken. I took the MSP course and it was amazing. Everyone was so passionate and helpful during the entire course. They always told us that where we are in the course is perfect for us right now, to decrease the amount of pressure we put on ourselves. The course is meant to be taken at your own pace but I loveddddd the live classes. I anticipated every meeting we had. The classes were very detailed and the instructors always answered questions.

I also love the fact that the MSP course certifies you in fertility, loss, prenatal, birth, and postpartum (it is absolutely worth the investment). You can feel the love and strong sense of community in Bebo Mia, which is another reason I loved the classes so much. They are all active in the pursuit of changing the birth spaces to produce better outcomes for birthers and families.

Moreover, Bebo Mia also has a birth worker support group. This group is like a therapy session for everyone in the course who needs it and they implemented this so that we (the students) are healed healers which is so important. If that does not scream they care about their students well being I do not know what will. This also highlights the fact that they care about each life that you touch and your clients will benefit even more from the healed version of you. With this course and the others provided, you will be equipped with the information you need to be confident and competent with everything you do after certification.

There is so much more amazing things I can say! But please see for yourself. When you invest in yourself you will receive a bigger ROI from Bebo Mia. I loved the course and so will you. I also plan on taking the Infant Sleep course soon. Before deciding on Bebo Mia I research many doula institutions and Bebo Mia by far is the best and taking the course proved that!

Would not recommend to women of color. The owner talks a great game about being inclusive and accepting to women of color and queer’s. But behind the scenes she has racist employees who try to appear as accepting to others.

With this school it’s hard to contact administrators or even get a timely response back regarding courses. The courses are over priced and extremely average for the amount of money you will pay. Sure they have a online Facebook community but nothing different from your typical doula school. Most online schools offer the same thing.

During my time as a student I was entered into a competition for contract. Which I believe robbed me from valuable learning experiences. With this competition the owner used me and other students for our creativity and intellectual ideas. We were all pretty much working 8 weeks for free. As they offer a barter but at the end will say you didn’t finish your hours so that don’t have to give you your full amount.

Where’s the integrity and honesty? Not here. So this completely ruined my time with them as a student. Which prompted me to enrolling into secondary doula/postnatal fitness program. I’m going to finish my current courses at bebo. But go elsewhere for community and meaningful experiences.

This is a very money hungry driven company that I can not associate myself with. Women of color. Find a program for you. By you.

Do your research on this company. And really get to know the people behind a company. Everything is not what it seems. Beautiful images and website. They also have amazing peer mentors plus some good co instructors who make the program great. They do an amazing job. But again they are just peer mentors/instructors.

but the overall quality and experience in training doesn’t match the price of the courses. When there are many other places offering similar courses for less.

Oh and a lot of their Reddit reviews, blog reviews are employees of the company or peer mentors to the company. Yes there are some authentic reviews but be weary of a company being desperate for reviews to pump up their sales.

Update: the company did however, honor my request regarding the rest of my barter. Still not what I worked for but at the very least my request was honored. Which is somewhat a step in the right direction.

I have love going through this organization for my education to become a doula the most comprehensive all in one learning and community with actual lived experience instructors to take and help every step of the way to guide as well I also love that they are an extremely positive and gender inclusive group that talks about all family types not just the old days of mom dad and two kids they dive deep into issues and started from the ground up this amazing place would be an amazing inclusive school to attend and I do it from the USA and love this also the very owner of the group and founder is one of your instructors as well you get to speak to them as a person not as a number I can't say enough wonderful things you just have to check it out and their amazing podcast called "The Hot + Brave" #Bebomia #Bebobabe #hot+bravepodcast

I have had nothing but positive interactions with everyone form Bebo Mia. They have all been very open, helpful and supportive. I am excited to begin my Doula journey now that I have finished all my classes. I found the information they provided in their classes and in books they had us read, to be extremely relevant to all the aspects of being a doula. As a business I found there respect for ALL people to be uplifting and encouraging. There need to be more businesses who support and promote ALL people.

I am so grateful I found Bebo Mia to take my maternal support practitioner training and get certified as a fertility, birth, and postpartum doula. I love how this program included education on how to be inclusive to different minority groups including education on racial disparities and how to have a doula practice inclusive of people in all gender identities etc.

These classes offered enriching information on everything from fertility to birth and postpartum, how to build a business, and how to expand your practice.

I also found it incredibly valuable to surround myself with people trying to make positive change in the world. These wonderful humans validate feelings and encourage reflection on how we process strong emotions, how we handle triggers etc. Because of these classes I will not only be a better doula but also a better person. I look up to the mentors in this class and feel so inspired to start my own business. They have been incredibly supportive and have answered so many questions that came up for me along the way.
