The BBB of NE Fla. did an exceptional job of handling my complaint against a company that took a deposit and then strung me out for months without providing any service. After the BBB contacted the company, I got my deposit back within just a few days! During this whole process, the BBB made it easy to open a complaint, they provided great communication and follow-up. My experience with the BBB is that companies respond to them and don't want the negative ratings they get if they don't.

I am grateful beyond words of how surprised and impressed I am with how the BBB quickly responded back to my complaint. They got the company I had issue with to give me my complete refund back for services not rendered after being strung along for days and then told in a very rude manner that they refused to give me anything!

In truth, I never expected a response for a nobody like me and for such a small amount. But they proved to me that it's not the amount that matters, it's the principle of continuing to do "good" business and NOT be allowed to take advantage of someone just because they are considered less important in today's world.

Thank you very much M. Flores and BBB for caring about the nobody's like myself, letting us know that we matter too and being our voice!

We took exception to the massive changes the Island Packet made to their online "newspaper product" and wanted to cancel and get a refund. After several attempts to work the issue with the Island Packet, I simply cancelled the subscription. However, I needed the BBB to intercede on my behalf to get the refund actually issued to us which was slightly more than $84. for the balance of the year.

The BBB was an effective advocate for us and resolved the issue to our complete satisfaction.

I had a gripe with a business that took my money but never delivered the products that I ordered, even tried to tell me they were delivered twice! With help from BBB I’ve come to find out it wasn’t even the company I thought it was. Apparently a Chinese company hikacked everything down to the tee, exact videos showing products, email addresses and phone numbers and posted their ads on Facebook. Only when we looking into origin of shipping did we find out what was going on. We let the reputable business that they were being losing business to these lowlifes and now I’m gonna go fight them for my money back! Thank Again!

Industrious.reid left unfinished work and promised to return after 3 weeks to finish the project (tiles and rear doors). Work projects were paid off. Trying to get in touch with him but blocked me on his phone text messages. Will not answer my email, text messages or phone calls. Also tiles were installed not level…high to low points are about 1/2” different.

I thank the BBB for all their assistance in resolving the conflict with Gospel Gardens. After the company received notification from the BBB, I was contacted by the owner and a resolution was negotiated. I received a full refund within seven days. The BBB applied the pressure that I was not able to apply in one year.
