I LOVE Antioch! This was the best College experience of my life! I went to College of Marin, and U.C.Davis, and this was by far, my favorite college. The teachers are all awesome, and passionate about their subjects, and they pass their enthusiasm to the students. I feel like I really learned and worked hard to receive a valuable university level of education. I'm so glad that I chose Antioch, and if I had to choose again, I would keep on choosing Antioch!

The worst teacher you should steer clear from is Lori Teves. This school does require lot of homework and great but the administration totally sucks and so does their appeals process. The social justice mantra is a scam.

Disappointing institution. Unorganized, poorly executed curricula, and overpriced for the quality of education. If you have the money to spend for its easy admission and insulting level of education, apply. Otherwise I recommend either attending a state school or researching curricula for these kind of programs and reading the books attached to them. This is pretty much what you do at Antioch - you pay $8K a quarter to receive a list of books to read. Class discussions and in-class learning is low-grade and ridiculous. Not a hater, just very disappointed I paid so much for this experience. Glad I was able to realize this and switch schools after two quarters.

Antioch mission and vision is completely different than traditional universities. Here, the students concentrate on their desired topic of study rather than a set curriculum. "Traditional schooling" does not apply here to their open minded and free spirited curriculum.

Unlike Sean Cannon, I feel the complete opposite! I think Antioch reflects my values as a social justice advocate. It prepared me to face the challenges and complexities of life ahead. If you're looking for a dynamic education with a social, economic, environmental justice foundation, Antioch University Los Angeles is the school for you!

This institution teaches a curriculum of white racism or "white privelege." If that is not something you like, prepare to be supremely offended and insulted. The faculty claim to teach under principles of "social justice," but it is curious how they can do so by teaching such a disgusting program of white racism. An awful educational experience and an injustice such people and a place exists.

I'm writing this comment because apparently this is the only way I'll get this schools attention. I've been trying to get reimbursed for some grant money the last couple days because my tuition was paid for by the G.I. bill and they keep blowing me off and not returning my phone calls or emails, one staff member literally said they threw away my phone number. Dealing with this school has been a nightmare and you'd think this problem would be able to be solved in about 15 minutes.

If you are taking classes here because it is a part of a high school option, then avoid at all costs. I took a class through here a while back and when it came time to transfer, I was given credits but no gpa. I talked with their HQ, and was told that they "ful filled" what was on their end. Now I have to fill out another document, which will take "anywhere between one to three weeks to be filed", pay for ANOTHER COPY of my transcripts (which they would otherwise give me a 'B' for, but the registrar "doesn't have the authority to do") meanwhile I'm about to be rejected from all the schools I applied to because these people can't be bothered to put 3.0 on the bottom of my transcripts (or at least include a letter to the universities explaing that y'all dont do gpa). Thanks for nothing Antioch
