Facts of the case- I reached out in May June 5 they came to look at my steps on June 19. I still hadn't heard anything so I asked for a quote on June 24. They emailed me a quote and I approved on June 25. I paid in full $7564 , I didn't hear anything until i messaged them on August 6. He messaged me back on August 19 that he was going to come the 20th.

They came August 20. They arrived at approximately 8:15. They left at approximately 11:30. During their time at my house they ripped up my walkway put down concrete.

They came back August 22 at 2:04 PM. They took the wheelbarrow and the construction caution tape down and left it to 2:11 PM- I texted them at 2:08 asking if they wanted me to move my car- they said no the stone will be here tomorrow the 23rd and they would be back.

I reached out on August 26 when they still hadn't come there was no stone. He said that they would be there Wednesday the 28th. The 28th came and he still wasn't there. He told me he was picking up materials said he'd be done in two days.

On the 29th, I raised concerns about the paint that was still on the stairs. The contract that we signed says all paint will be removed and if it was too hard to remove they were to use a metal lathe to get it off. I continued to express my concerns about how they put on the tread of the stairs before they put on the face of the stairs since that makes it really hard to get the stones on the face. Especially when you're trying to squeeze stone in and get paint off that is still there.

As some of you may know on my personal page on September 3, I wrote a Facebook post in a couple different groups asking if this is what the incline was supposed to look like I felt like it was very unlevel and it was a huge tripping hazard. My biggest priority with the stairs is safety. I have so many people coming up to my house getting their stuff from my porch and they need to be safe.

On September 4, they returned to my house. I still had issues with everything they were doing and it still not being done after I was told it would be done by this point and the contract I signed said we would be done by now.... ALSO when I saw 20 plus bags of top soil and saw they were hiding their work, I asked them to please halt the work until I spoke to a lawyer. I told them not to come back on my property unless they had the police with them.

On September 5 at 8 AM they arrived at my house with three police officers. TO REMIND YOU, I PAID IN FULL FOR THIS so those materials that were at my house WERE MINE. I PAID FOR THEM!! THEY TOOK THEM with the help of the police. Who am I to argue with the police. ?

Also claim to have never received said demand letter. Claim to have never lived at that address it was sent to while they had a business.... ? which is the address registered with the State Corporation Commission Clerk's Information System...

Brandon and team did an outstanding job on our patio and walkway. I gave him my (rough) vision and he was able to bring it to life. He made invaluable suggestions (things I hadn’t thought about) and provided recommendations on the stone colors so everything matched our house.

He and his crew didn’t waste any time either. The work was completely in a timely manner and I’m very pleased with the outcome. I’ll be using Brandon on my next outdoor project.
