Normally I don’t like to leave reviews especially negative reviews. Never been to this college in person but took online course the portal is so complicated looks like everything but not portal !! As far as administration and IT they were truly amazing. I signed up for Racial and ethnic relation with Moreno-Terrill the worst Professor i had so far in my career she dropped me for no reason me and other classmates !! Never response to emails and never answer questions!! Plz be aware taking class with Moreno-Terrill was a nightmare I am in international student huge group I will definitely do my best to make sure nobody sign up at this college especially with Moreno-Terrill

I have had nothing but good experiences at Coastline College. They offer a wide variety of online classes that have great teachers! The staff and counselors I have worked with were all kind, very informative and helpful. I would recommend this college for those looking to take their classes online.

The curriculum is good but calling them back or getting a hold of them is quite challenging. Better if you email them. Also, need to ask for more information for like everything. I like the most here is the Online Class

I have attended five community colleges, one university, and law school. This school was far and away the hardest to deal with while I attended classes online from them--and continues to not only be difficult to deal with--but extremely rude.
Coastline's bookstore manager, Martha, is thee rudest and unprofessional employee I have ever encountered at any school I have attended.
I ordered two textbooks to be sent to my friend located in another city--who's correct shipping address was inputted. I then input my billing address. Yet, somehow, this bookstore screwed it all up and got the shipping wrong--and they want to charge me for another $9.99 for S&H.
What a joke. I attended a few online classes with Coastline years ago and frequently recommended them as a great online option for those wanting to further their education. Never again will anyone get such a recommendation from me.
Seriously, you would be much better off going to a different school. One that appreciates their students.

Coastline will not send my
transcripts nor have they
sent new semester enroll-
ment papers. They do not
advise students or make
any constructive advise on
how to improve a students
essays or on graded papers
or make changes on the
grades when challenged.
Will not return calls.

I called admission and record to check if they received my transcripts, I ended up talking to someone who not only was rude but he literally told me he doesn't have a lot of time to help me.....this guy was impatient and he was annoyed to help students. Not a very good impression to welcome a new student to this school. Highly disappointed.

They make it extremely difficult for previously incarcerated students to receive financial aid even though they're clearly no longer incarcerated. This could be verified simply by visiting CDCR's website and using the inmate locator search and typing in the CDC or number that they have on file. But no they won't do this for you. They'll make sure you don't get your financial aid and they won't even tell you they'll make you figure it out the hard way. It's terrible that they would treat previously incarcerated students this way. They're obviously fully with the agenda and trying to go for a revolving door of inmates.
