Studying at the Imperial College of Business Studies has been a fantastic experience so far! Much thanks to the Assistant Manger & Student Counsellor Mr. Ahnan Zuhair, for referring me to the CIMA programme. The enrollment was a smooth process. With a supportive faculty, the learning environment is dynamic, and the resources available make studying here worthwhile. The lecturers are surprisingly engaging as well. Excited to continue my journey!

Worst institute ever. I completed my 2nd year at Imperial in Feb 2024, and they promised to provide my transcript by Sep or Oct. After months of chasing them and hearing different excuses every day, I finally got it in November, and they blamed UWS for the delay. What they didn’t tell me was that the certificate wouldn’t come with the transcript, and when I asked, they claimed it hadn’t been delivered by UWS. The way they handled everything was unprofessional and irresponsible, causing major delays in my student visa application process. They rarely answered calls, so I had to go to their office multiple times to get updates. The counselors were no better; all they ever said was that they would check with the academic team, but they never followed up. I requested a completion letter from UWS, but they dragged that out for weeks, so I asked for one from Imperial instead. Even then, they kept giving random excuses like the dean not being in the office or the academic team being too busy. Weeks went by without any progress, and I eventually applied for my visa without the letter because it was pointless to wait for them. Their lack of communication, dishonesty, and inability to handle simple tasks is ridiculous. Don’t be fooled by their marketing. they treat students terribly, as if we studied there for free. Avoid this place at all costs.

Actually this is the best place to carry out academic qualifications as well as professional qualifications. They offer degree of BA in International Business and Finance which affiliate with University of West of Scotland. In addition, once you done with 2nd yr 2nd semester u will be able to sit for Cima and acca final level which is a great boost for ur professional studies. Moreover, u can find great lecture panel. Friendly, lovely and nice. In this one yr I found great friends and lectures. I would suggest everyone to enroll with Imperial for academic and professional education. U will definitely feel the difference.

Absolute disorganized institute that everyone should ignore. On January 28, 2024 I signed up for their MBA program by paying a registration fee. Then, on February 9, I made an initial payment of 100,000/=. However, I didn't receive any proper credentials from the affiliated university whatsoever. This got me thinking about whether they had actually registered us with the university because in the group chat, some students from previous batches also mentioned not receiving any email credentials.

Despite numerous follow-up emails on my part, they showed little concern and repeatedly mentioned that I would receive it, emphasizing the university's strict policies, etc. However, when I requested a refund, they suddenly conducted an investigation and claimed that the university said they sent the email on the 13th, providing a lame screenshot as evidence and stating that I received it. They blamed me for not receiving the email and accused me of wasting time. I mean, I didn't receive any credentials whatsoever; otherwise, why would I keep asking them?

However, I managed to get a partial refund, prorated because I attended some lectures. The only positive of this institute is that their lecturers are good and engaging with students. However, none of this matters because the institute itself is disorganised to the core.

In summary, if you are thinking of pursuing an MBA or MSc here, don't. They are disorganised and don't know what they are doing. After you've paid, there won't be any support regarding matters like mine, and the affiliated university QMU is no different. Avoid this institute at all costs.

Pramudi Perera

Do not join anyone with this campus. Imperial College of Business Studies is one of the worst campuses in Sri Lanka. After an 8-month course, it takes only 1 year to get the result.

ICBS is a campus where you find amazing panel of lecturers and staff. They are so friendly and flexible, so that you can get the maximum support from them at the same time, they are maintaining the quality of lectures also. The university which is affiliated is at a top in the world ranking as well and the Bachelors degree which they offer opens the opportunity to get exemptions from many recognized professional bodies such as, CIMA, ACCA, CPA, CIM and etc. I did my degree BA (hons) International Business and Finance and I consider myself truly lucky to do my degree there?
