I completed my MBA in Sustainable Hospitality Management from SUMAS in July 2023, and it was a profoundly enriching experience. My academic journey was significantly enhanced by engaging in live projects throughout Europe. The faculty were exceptionally knowledgeable and pragmatic, offering insights that were both theoretical and applicable in real-world scenarios. The administrative staff was incredibly supportive, providing indispensable assistance with the visa processing requirements. Additionally, they helped facilitate the acquisition of my student residence permit. The opportunity to collaborate with brilliant peers was invaluable, and it laid the groundwork for me to establish my own business in Italy after graduation. My heartfelt thanks to SUMAS for such a transformative educational experience!

I do not recommend this school. I started but did not complete the MBA in sustainability management. I found the admin to be extremely unhelpful and often unresponsive. They failed me for one class that I disenrolled from before the deadline but they claimed I did not. Many of the professors consistently provided material that was unedited and full of errors. The English of many of the professors is not at a high enough level to be teaching MBA level courses. There was 0 live interaction with others classmates and no real opportunities to exchange and discuss with others. There’s definitely very little interest on the side of the school of helping students out in any way.

I am a recent graduate of this university and overall, I would not recommend this university to anyone looking to continue their education. Many of my classmates and I had consistent issues with the administration that hindered our learning and dampened our experience. When we tried to propose changes or discuss problems, the administration was not open to working with us.

Response times were lengthy and grading was subjective, with no true transparency into how they were determined. This made many of us afraid to speak up, which is why I am doing so now, after I have secured my diploma today. The biggest disappointment for me was the lack of career services. Since this was heavily marketed to me when I was considering this school, I was shocked to learn there is no career office, no career fairs, and no real effort to connect students with alumni who could help us advance our careers. When I approached the administration about the career fair issue, they claimed that career fairs were only possible with the help of student council and that no students had run for a position this year. This was shocking news to me since the school did not hold an Autumn student council election and the Spring election took place less than 2 months before 21 of the 23 students were graduating, thus students would not have been able to make any real change in their remaining time.

In my time at SUMAS I did learn a lot and was fortunate to have some great professors who equipped me with knowledge and tools for my career, and I am grateful to them. However, the quality of the education does not outweigh all of the issues we experienced which is why I do not recommend this school to others.

**ALSO carefully read their accreditation because they are not accredited by any of the big accreditation organizations that are widely recognized

Choosing SUMAS for my MBA journey was unequivocally one of the best decisions I've made in my professional life. From the outset, it was clear that this institution is not just about imparting academic knowledge but fostering a holistic approach to business, leadership, and innovation. The melange of perspectives, cultures, and experiences cultivated a richer learning environment, allowing for the cross-pollination of ideas and fostering invaluable professional connections.

As someone who has worked at this school, I feel compelled to share my experience and warn others about the serious issues I encountered. This school is nothing short of a scam, and prospective students should steer clear.

First and foremost, the quality of education at this institution is severely lacking. Many of the so-called "teachers" are not qualified professionals, and it's evident that education takes a backseat to profit. The school targets students from abroad, particularly those from places like Hong Kong, who are willing to pay hefty fees for a subpar education.

Moreover, the management operates with complete disregard for the well-being of their employees. Staff members are constantly under threat of termination for minor infractions, and the rules are absurdly strict. For instance, employees are required to have lunch precisely at 12pm and are forbidden from socializing with co-employees. So weird and creepy.

The administration's focus is solely on making money, even if it means exploiting vulnerable students and employees. They offer student visas and certificates to anyone willing to pay, regardless of their actual qualifications or dedication to learning.

I urge anyone considering this school to do their research and read reviews on platforms like Glassdoor before making any commitments. Trust me, you'll save yourself a lot of money, time, and frustration by avoiding this place altogether. Don't fall victim to their deceptive practices like I did, and countless others have.

I’ve just finished my Capstone for a MAM on Sustainable Tourism. When I look back to day one I feel like I’ve done a huge step towards better career opportunities.
I chose SUMAS not only for their sustainability expertise but also for the flexibility that the online courses provide and found a good work, study and family balance.
The academic staff has been extremely proactive and I felt supported through the whole journey.
Through contacts with one of my classmates I was able to find an apprenticeship in Costa Rica where I am at the moment and I trust that I’ll able to consolidate what I’ve learnt in the past 18 months during my stay here.

Finalizing a Master in Sustainability Management. Looking back when I started I feel very prepared to start a career in Sustainability. The courses I attended were led by excellent professors with experience in the field, also I had the opportunity to collaborate with companies and to apply the theory in real practice. I am happy to choose SUMAS.

I'm taking MAM in Sustainability and I'm happy that I chose SUMAS. They offer a wide range of courses in Sustainability and the professors are great. I also had a chance to work with big companies and learned how sustainability supports economic success and plays a vital role in competitive business strategies.
