Wonderful building. There are plenty of places to study. Very high-tech lecture halls that are not over packed with seats. Also has a place to get food. Would definitely become a business major.

I graduated from the College of Business at Iowa State University in May of 2013 and I have nothing but positive things to say about this College. The Gerdin Business building was by far my favorite building on campus. It was always clean and very modern. The classrooms were great from learning an team building. I spent a lot of time here and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

The Ivy College Of Business at Iowa State is criminally bad.

The advisors actively lied to students, proving awful advice, only to keep students enrolled for more time than they needed to be.

The staff was embarrassingly uneducated, they were lazy, uninformed, and often times couldn't answer students' genuine questions on subjects, because they never knew the answer.

Classes were easy, repetitive, and didn't build on the student's knowledge of a subject.

The School once paid Schools.com to rate them as the #2 Marketing department in the country, and when I went to the website legal section, I learned it was owned by Quin Street Marketing. When I brought this up to the then dean of the program, she told me "It's okay if it's not real, international students don't know the difference".

I graduated with a double major in 4 years, and work as a Digital Marketing Director for a firm in Chicago, only 2 years out of college. When I compare my college education with my peers in the industry, it is embarrassing how bad it was.

We tried other MBA programs but Iowa State's was by far the best, and weirdly the most inexpensive as well. My husband not only learned, he grew personally, finding excellent mentors and friends in their programs. And I'm a bit awed at the positions where his classmates have ended up, almost all of them had amazing jobs lined up before they had even graduated.
