I'm not sure the bagels would qualify as New York quality, but they were pretty good. I got the Surfer and if you like meat for breakfast, this thing has you covered. They cooked the eggs perfect too. It was really good on the cheddar bagel. The staff was super nice and helped me make good selections. If you are near downtown, this is a solid option.

I was really looking forward to getting a good breakfast sandwich on a Sunday morning but for the first time in a very long time I was disappointed ?

I waited for 35 min to place my order (1 sandwich) and sadly I waited another 30 min to get my food. I could see that the store was short staffed (2 people working) and they were both trying to multitask and get both restaurant orders and online orders out as soon as they could.

It would had been a better experience if we were told that there was a long wait for placing orders and getting food, that way we could make the decision to wait or leave. I had already invested time waiting to place an order, so I decided to wait.

The girl that took my order apologized for the wait, but it was too much for them to handle.

Overall, the sandwich was good but I would not go out of my way to get one. The bagel was fluffy, not doughy and the egg, cheese and bacon settled nicely. It was tasty and fresh. I ordered the Sunrise on a Jalapeño Cheddar and it hit the spot, after a very long wait.

I called 5 times before they answered. I had a simple question less than 30 seconds. When I got to the location, there was only 1 person in the lobby. So I didn't understand why and there were 3 people working.
I think an online menu just to see what is available would be beneficial.
They do have self-serve water.
The person who helped me was nice. Offered for me to try different cream cheese and suggested a sauce.
The food was okay. I probably won't come back. I don't live far, and the bagel got chewy, and the toast of it was no longer present. I was excited to try due to how everything looked but... Sandwhich and tater tots came to 15ish.

My wife and I walked over to it out and both thoroughly enjoyed our bagels and coffees. Wish we were here another day to try another sandwich.

Staff greeted us right away and were super courteous. The food and drinks were promptly ready as well. I had a J Papi, she had The Sailor (vegetarian). Do recommend!

Awesome small business. Was in the mood for a bagel sandwich and wanted to try something different. Stumbled upon this place from a Google maps search. Good atmosphere, the food was good as well, and the staff was friendly. Not too pricey. We will definitely come back.

I'll start off by saying I'm a foodie! This review is based on poor service. We came in and waited 10 minutes before we could place our order. These are what we observed in our 45 minutes wait for 2 sandwiches and a side of Tata totts; orders being mixed up, persons walking in to place their orders but being told they're not taking orders for the next 10 minutes so they walked out, persons waiting with no attention from staff, not enough ingredients for the meals where they had to leave and go buy from the store. Time for our order we were given the wrong order and totts were not ready and bagels were not warmed at all. Another 10 minutes of waiting!! I'm sorry but I'm not sure if we'll be back or recommend this place. To the owner; maybe training staff to be quicker on their feet especially as the place was NOT busy, having a floater cashier who can cash and serve drinks and about 3 cooks who can provide food in a timely manner. Thanks.

Delicious food with great service! My partner and I both got the sunrise with sausage, mine on a cheddar bagel (pictured), and his on a cinnamon bagel. They tasted great and were evidently high quality. Both the person who took our order and the person who made our sandwiches were very friendly. They even checked in on us while we were eating. Definitely will return!

The bagels are average, it was a super convenient option when I first moved in the Ivanhoe/North Quarter area & was traveling ?; had no groceries so the B shop was my go-to but you never know what kinda service you will get, they seem to shuffle through employees & I have called a few mornings to get busy signals & then just give up. If they had consistent ordering system to queue up & make orders in a timely basis then I would be willing to pay for their products but I have groceries now & here more often so I can easily cook up breakfast ? sandwiches ? @ home!
