I’ve used the Better Business Bureau a few times online and I think they’re amazing are used Better Business Bureau after I’ve argued with my point with companies and made documentation and don’t get anywhere then I write a complaint pretty simple and BBB website. I find the company and I share all the details next thing I know I’m getting calls from corporate customer relations, how can they help? I explain the situation they get on the service department. Next thing I know people are out fixing my things now things are working, which are waited months for someone to reply. Bottom line is I’m not sure what kind of clout they have but every time I use them, they’ve made things happen very pleased, so give it a try if you have legitimate, documented,they are definitely in the wrong proof and the Better Business Bureau will definitely help you

My case was closed after I was told many times by BBB that I was not responding to Del-Air A/C and Heating Company’s attempts to resolve my complaint. Not only did I respond many times and leave several messages, I also supplied photos and documentation supporting my complaint.

Thank you for responding. The person who is in charge of my case has reached out to me and is reopening my complaint. I am hopeful there will be a resolution of this matter.

10/19/24 update: My issue with Del-Air has been resolved. It definitely took longer than it should have, but I am happy to report that I now have the correct air conditioner for my home and I’m living comfortably at last.

The BBB closed my case without resolution. It is best to skip this process and take the merchant to small claims court. It was a waste of time. All the merchant did was whine, write a bunch of lies in his response and attack me. The response did not have any type of resolution and the BBB case was closed. If you are in need of remodeling services and come across Berrett remodeling & handyman services, Run!!!!! He will take your money and rob you blind. He will conduct unlicensed electrical and plumbing work in your home. He made it clear to the BBB that he did such work unlicensed and the BBB just closed the case.

In March I filed a complaint against Pro-Tech AC about a split heat pump that was under sized compared to what was removed resulting in higher electrical costs. At each step of the process the BBB gave the contractor a time line to respond with stated actions by the BBB if they did not respond. It didn't take long to see that again and again the BBB failed to take the actions they stated would happen. In the end the contractor responded in mid May with a bogus response that didn't even have any connection to the root of my complaint. So what does the BBB do, closes the complaint by saying contractor responded. I would welcome a call from management to review the complaint and what BBB said what they were going to do vs what they did. From my prospective the BBB erected a fire wall between a consumer vs the contractor favoring the contractor. Case #21399213.

I believe Ambetter is in serious trouble... in 10 calls to Doctors that are in their list are not anymore..... it has being hard to schedule an appointment having only Ambetter as Health Insrurance.

EDIT: the owner has finally replied to my review (over a year later), blaming me for not reaching out directly. I did reach out directly, several times in fact. How do I remove a start from this already one-star review for the false claims made in the "owner's response"?

I am disappointed with the Better Business Bureau's (BBB) negligence in properly evaluating the evidence I provided for my complaint. Despite submitting extensive documentation, including videos and supporting materials, the assigned representative, Susan, failed to review the evidence and address my specific concerns.

Throughout the process, I received automated responses and generic suggestions without any indication that my evidence was thoroughly examined. This lack of diligence by the BBB representative raises doubts about their commitment to impartially mediating disputes and holding businesses accountable.

The BBB's role is crucial in providing consumers with a fair platform for resolving complaints. However, Susan's disregard for the evidence and failure to fulfill her responsibilities as a mediator undermines the integrity of the BBB's dispute resolution process.

I urge the BBB to address the shortcomings in their evaluation procedures and ensure that representatives take their responsibilities seriously. Consumers rely on organizations like the BBB to impartially assess evidence and provide meaningful assistance in resolving disputes.
